And He is the propitiation for our sins!

"And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not only for our own, but also for the whole world."

1 John 2:2

Thoughts: In the Old Testament when someone sinned, it was necessary for a lamb to be sacrificed, as it symbolized the death of someone without sin in favor of the one who had committed the sin. But Jesus is the Lamb of God, who shed his own blood, without sin, on behalf of us all. Thus the grace of God extended beyond the borders of Israel, and now whoever confesses Jesus as their Lord and Savior can be part of God's chosen nation.

Prayer: God, I acknowledge Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and I confess my love for You. Thank You for sending Jesus to die in my place, in order to rid me of all sin, and bring salvation to me to have eternal life . Forgive my sins, and accept my life as the Lord's instrument, so that I can do Your work. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
