AS THE CLAY IN THE POTTER'S HANDS, SO ARE YOU IN MY HANDS!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

Shall I not do to you as this potter did, O house of Israel? says the LORD. Behold, as clay in the potter's hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel." 

Jeremiah 18:6 

Thoughts: It is in the potter's house that the vase is shaped, and the church is the potter's house, so whatever happens don't move away from the church. We are the work of the Lord, and each day he molds us to be after His heart's desire, the way He has planned for us to be. When we give ourselves totally into God's hands, he makes another vessel, a new vessel according to what seems good to him. We will no longer be the same. We have to forget the past and leave for the future confident in the mercy of the Lord who is great.

Prayer: Dear Father, make me a new vessel daily because I want to be shaped by Your hands, every day so that the Lord may pour out the living water and make the power of the Holy Spirit overflow in our lives. Help us to sanctify our lives day by day and not let ourselves be contaminated by the things of this world. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
