ASK, SEEK AND KNOCK!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL 

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."

Matthew 7:7-8

Thought: In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus preached to the crowd, and at this point in the message, His words are of hope, demonstrating how faithful He is to those who follow Him!!! Notice in this verse, for all our attitudes, Jesus says that there is a positive answer waiting for us!!! So if I have faith, a life of intimacy with God, a life of renunciation and faithfulness to the Lord, He will honor me!!! By prayer we ask and with faith we receive!!! The answer comes from God !!! If it's difficult, cry out, cry, pour yourself out on the Lord's altar, insist, persist, for everyone who asks, receives!!! God keeps His promises, those who seek, find !!! God takes pleasure in blessing us. 

Prayer: Loving Father, and kind God, only Jesus can bring us words like these, which renew our hope, which makes us persevere, move forward, lift our heads, and fix our eyes on victory, on the answer that comes of the Lord. Sometimes we look in many places, use our strength to do things our way, and find nothing. But thank you that every time we seek You, and give everything to You, we can rest and wait until the door is opened. And the door that the Lord opens no one.
