CHILDREN OF GOD!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

"See what great love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we are called children of God; and indeed we are children of God. For this reason the world does not know us, because it has not known Himself." 

1 John 3:1 

Thoughts: What a privilege it is to be able to be called a child of God!!! How wonderful to think that God places us on an equal footing with Christ, who is the firstborn son of God. We are called to be one body with Christ Jesus, and in heaven we will all be one family, filled with God's inexplicable love. And above all, we are heirs to all the things that God created. 

Prayer: Dear Father, thank You for Your love revealed in this word, how wonderful it is to be called Your child. Thank you also because the Lord chose me and invited me to be part of this great family. Thank you for sending Jesus Christ to save me and free me from all sin so that I can live in heaven. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
