DO NOT LOSE FAITH !

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

"...for it is by faith that you stand firm."

2 Corinthians 1:24b 

- Sometimes it is difficult to keep the faith firm... In a world full of uncertainties, bad news, despair and suffering, we are daily "bombarded" with evil arrows, to the point of questioning whether it is worth continuing. Sadly, many are weakened in their faith when they face some pain or trial. But, don't lose your faith! God is with you! He helps you face the struggles of life... 

- Jesus once asked his disciples if in the end he would still find faith on earth (Luke 18:8). While humanity's natural tendency is to turn away from the Creator, believers hold on to His strength and His love. As a child of God, you can stand firm in faith and hope, for the indestructible love of God. Nothing can keep you from the grace of Jesus! He strengthens you with his unshakable armor! So, embrace the shield of faith to resist the enemy's attacks and stand your ground! 

Don't lose faith!

- Live by faith! Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it gives us conviction of things we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1) 

- Pray and ask God to increase your faith. In the most difficult times, faith will help you get up and keep going!

- Stick to the Bible! Faith comes by hearing, reading, knowing, internalizing and practicing the Word of God. Make it your daily food.- Resist in the bad day. The enemy can even throw fiery darts, but you will have to flee if you resist!

- Put on the armor of God (Eph. 6:10-17) and strengthen yourself in faith, hope and love of the Lord.

To Pray: Lord God, thank you for strengthening and sustaining me in my little faith. Help me to trust each day. Times are hard, but the Lord remains the same: sovereign, almighty, good God of love! May we stand firm in Thee at the coming of Christ, with renewed hope and faith in Thy Word, in the name of Jesus! Amen.
