"I lift up my eyes to the mountains: where will my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth."

Psalms 121:1-2

Thoughts: Raising your eyes to the "mountain", is a reference to the mountains of Palestine, whose summit was used by pagans to build idolatrous altars. On the journey to the feast, "when the children of Israel saw the hills around them where the Gentiles used to kindle the fires on their altars, 'I lift up my eyes to the mountains; whence shall my help come?' " .

The idolatrous worship of the Baals took place in the "high places". Not from the mountains, but from Jehovah, God's help comes to the faithful. From where [...]?. It is not from the mountains or mountains that the children of God receive help, but from God. It was "from the Lord, who made heaven and earth." This is the beautiful answer, for only you can help your people, God can respond to any emergency that arises in the vast universe of His creation.

Prayer: Lord God and eternal father, in the name of the Lord Jesus, at this time we thank you for your kindness to us, how good it is to know that we can help you, your power is unlimited you created the heavens and the earth, the lord created the universe, you own everything. Thank you so much for everything, in Jesus name. Amen
