HAPPINESS OF THE GUARDIANS!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

Blessed are those servants whom the lord, when he comes, will find them watching; verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, make room for them at table, and, drawing near, he will serve them.'

Luke 12:37

THOUGHT: Without a shadow of a doubt, vigilance is the most effective and safest means that prepares us to meet the Lord. When we watch, we are always keeping an eye on everything and analyzing what God's will is. We know what can encumber our lives and lead to spiritual fall and death, because when that happens, there is a separation from God. The Bible teaches us that we must flee from all embarrassment and sin (Hebrews 12:1). If Christ comes back and we're in that situation, it won't be good. 'Therefore, be ye also ready; for the Son of Man will come at an hour which ye think not' (Luke 12:40).

PRAYER: Dear Father, may I be always attentive, vigilant, and that I may soon identify the enemy's tricks. I know it will be a great tragedy if Jesus returns and I am fallen. So help me to escape the appearance of evil, stay away from sin, and not deviate from His path. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
