"In the evening many demon-possessed were brought to him, and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. And thus was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: He took our infirmities and carried our diseases. ."

Matthew 8:16-17

Thoughts: How does Jesus feel for us when we feel tormented by evil and injustice? Does he really yearn to touch our bodies when we're hurt? Look in two places for the answer. First, look to the cross and see Him in anguish so that we can have confidence that He knows and cares about our pain. Second, look to His Kingdom, when we will see Him face to face, and every tear will be wiped from our eyes and we will share His glory and majesty for all eternity. In this world, we walk under His grace and experience it partially, we live without the full understanding of things, but the time will come when we will be able to taste all of His love, His grace, and we will have full knowledge of the truth.

Prayer: Holy and Righteous Father, until The Day of Grace is fully reached, I trust that Your love and mercy will sustain me through the Grace of my Savior and His Son, Jesus Christ. In Your name, I pray. Amen.
