JOY COMES IN THE MORNING!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

For his wrath lasts but a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; crying may persist for a night, but in the morning joy breaks out.

Psalms 30:5

- In life sometimes we go through difficult times, of sadness, pain and suffering. We lose important things: opportunities, job, study, work, dreams... We break relationships, we move away from those we love the most, we sadden friends, we lose loved ones... The crying, anguish and mourning seem to have no end. But believe: God puts an end to our suffering. Even if everything says otherwise, have faith: joy will come!

- In many biblical passages we see the grace of God manifesting itself in the lives of his children and with you it will be no different... Daniel's friends were thrown into the furnace, but they came out unharmed. Daniel himself was in the den one night with hungry lions, but none of them harmed him. Job lost his children, his possessions, his health, but he was able to know God more closely. Heaven and earth suffered at the death of the Savior, but on the third day He rose again! And today, because Jesus lives, we can have real joy and hope!

Joy comes in the morning

- Cry out to God, wherever and however you are (sad, alone, on the bed of pain or illness...). He hears you and sees you.

- Trust the Lord with your life and ask for help in these difficult times.

- Even without strength or without words, shed your tears and your heart before the heavenly Father.

- The Word of God is the food you need to be strengthened and comforted. Read, listen, study the Bible.

- Do not leave communion with the Church. Gather with friends and brothers in the faith. Ask them to pray with you and walk with you.

- Wait patiently on the Lord. If you have still faced dark nights, believe that a new day of joy will come!

To Pray:

Heavenly Father, I believe that the joy of You strengthens me. Even feeling sad and distressed, I surrender my life in Your hands. Renew me and make everything new again. I give you my dreams, plans, my family and everything I am. I know I'm not alone... You are with me! Help me to depend on You and trust Your Word. You're loyal! Stay with me now and always, in Jesus name! Amen.
