 "Verily, verily I say unto you, if any man keep my word, he shall never see death." 

John 8:51 

Thoughts: 'Man has always desperately sought to escape death. And despite all the treatments for rejuvenation and cell renewal, man still has not been freed from this fear. Only one Person managed to overcome death: Jesus Christ. If you have this Jesus in your heart, who is still greater than death today, then you too are free from the fear and power of death! Only then will you no longer see death, for He Himself said: 'I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live.

PRAYER: Dear Father, thank you for this word, that you bring peace to my heart, because I can put my hopes in eternal life, that Jesus won for me, a perfect life with You, in the Kingdom of Heaven. Help me to remember this word when I am in the midst of the tribulation, so I can be at peace, knowing that the things of this life are fleeting, and what really matters is eternal life. I pray in Jesus' name, amen.
