LET GOD'S LOVE PERFECT YOU!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL 

"There is no fear in love; rather, perfect love casts out fear. Now, fear produces torment; therefore, the one who fears is not perfected in love."

1 John 4:18

Thought: There are several types of fear. Some are legitimate. Others are imaginary. Still others are irrational. Fortunately, as Christians, we need not be afraid of the crucial event in our lives - judgment. God's love saves us, empowers us, blesses us, works in us, and touches others through us. Above all, having experienced this love, we can cast out the fear in our hearts because we know where we are in relation to God. He is our loving Father, who longs to take us home.

Prayer: Holy, majestic, and tremendous God, the Lord is powerful! His holiness is incomparable. His actions towards us are just and right. Above all, dear Father, I thank you because the Lord does not treat me in any way. O Lord, the Lord treats me with grace, blessing me with redemption and transformation. Your love gives me confidence to live for the Lord and to look forward to the day when I will stand before the Lord. Until that day, I offer you my gratitude and praise. In the holy name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
