DAILY DEVOTIONAL

 "You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, and the highest heavens, and everything in them, the earth and everything in it, the seas and everything in them. You gave life to all beings, and the armies of heaven adore you." 

Nehemiah 9:6 

Thought: God is the Creator! Life is defined in him and by him. The multitudes of heaven praise Him and adore Him. For me this means two very important things. First, I must give Him praise from my heart. Second, when I praise God, I am doing something eternal. You and I won't carry much from this life to the next. But among these things is our praise to our God and Father. Praise be to our God, not only now, but forever! 

Prayer: Thank you, dear God, for creating the universe in its great incomprehensible expansion. Thank you, Holy Father, for re-creating me in Christ so I could share in your glory. Thank You, Almighty Lord, for creating the life that lasts forever. I look forward to that Day when I will see Him face to face, and I praise Him with the multitudes of heaven. In Jesus' name I praise. Amen.
