OVERFLOWING IN GRATITUDE!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL 

Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, steadfast in the faith, as you were taught, overflowing with gratitude." 

Colossians 2:6-7 

THOUGHT: Do we remember the day we received Christ Jesus in our lives? Have we lived in it? Rooted, edified and established in the faith? In order to take root, we need to remain firm. If we are tossed about, how can we be rooted? However, what still calls the most attention in this verse are the words "overflowing with gratitude"!!! Are we full of gratitude to Jesus? I believe we need more, we need to OVERFLOW with gratitude to our Lord!!! We were chosen and saved by Him, who loved us, loves us to this day, and will love us for all eternity. 

Prayer: Dear Father, help me to take root in the fertile soil of Your love. Help me to live steadfastly in the faith. Teach me to have a heart overflowing with gratitude to You each day. Thank You Father, for Your love, for Your grace, for all that You have done for me, Thank You for the things You are doing, and for what You still do in my life. Thanks Dad . I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
