DAILY DEVOTIONAL

"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, neither standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the wheel of scoffers. night. For it will be like a tree planted by streams of water, which bears its fruit in its season; its leaves shall not fall, and whatever it does shall prosper."

Psalm 1:1-3

Thoughts: What a wonderful passage King David left for us. There are moments in our lives when things get tight, the wind suffers against us, what we call adversity, and afflictions that Jesus said we would go through here on earth, but he also said that he won and that we will also win., if if we are faithful, if we keep our standing before God, this passage reveals that if we do not meditate on the word of the Lord we are blessed, so we must not sit with scoffers or seek counsel with the wicked. The word of God has all the answers we need, and it assures us that if we meditate on it day and night, whatever we do will prosper.

Prayer: Dear Father, thank you so much for leaving your word to us so that we can meditate and seek help in times when we don't know what to do. Help us to meditate on it day and night so that we can be successful. The Lord is faithful and just, and fulfills his promises, so we can believe that we are more than happy and at the right time we will reap our fruits. Amen.
