All Scripture is inspired of God and useful for teaching, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness, so that the man of God may be fit and fully prepared for every good work. 

- 2 Timothy 3:16-17 

Do you know the main way God talks to you? Through the Bible! The Bible is the word of God because He inspired the people who wrote it. In the Bible, God speaks to you, explains the truth, and reveals His will for your life. When you read the Bible, you will learn how to live for Jesus. The words of the Bible prepare and equip you to do good works and live in holiness, in addition to helping you to distinguish between right and wrong, truth and lies. Therefore, it is very important to read and know the Bible, applying what you are learning. Being able to read the Bible is a great privilege! Don't waste it.

Make Bible reading a priority: 

- Make time to read the Bible and pray every day. 

- Ask God for wisdom to understand what you read. 

- If you have difficulty understanding what you read, use Bible studies and other resources. 

- Ask a pastor or other more mature Christian about passages you don't understand. 

- Put what you learned into practice 

To pray: 

Lord God, thank you for giving us the Bible. Please help me understand what I read in the Bible and see how it applies to my life. I want to live to please You and I know the Bible can help me do that. Give me wisdom and courage to follow Your word. In the name of Jesus, amen.
