REGENERATED IN JESUS ​​CHRIST!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL 

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to his great mercy, has regenerated us to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." 

1 Peter 1:3 

THOUGHT: Peter writes that God has regenerated men to a living, incorruptible hope that cannot be quenched or forgotten. The victory over death and evil, filled the hearts of those men with hope overflowing with love and faith. And you, where have you placed your hope? Does your hope, even if it is the last, does it die? Remember, then, that the hope of the one who was born of God, saved by faith in Jesus Christ, is the only hope that does not die, and leads us to eternal life. 

Prayer: Dear Father, may this same hope of the apostle Peter definitely fill our souls and illuminate our spiritual experience in this world. So also may this same hope be brought by us to so many others who do not yet know the Lord. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
