REJOICE ALWAYS AND PRAY CONTINUOUSLY!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL 

Rejoice always. Pray continually. 

1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 

- God is the source of all joy. God's joy is our strength, so we should rejoice in God and not in circumstances. For, regardless of any situation, God remains the Lord in our life! 

- The joy that God gives is lasting, springs from His love and has no end. God's love makes us happy and motivates us to share it: the joy of Salvation in Christ Jesus. As with everything in life, there is a time to rejoice and a time to pray. To pray continually is to seek God, to have a relationship with Him. Just as we relate to our family members, we must seek this daily relationship with God. 

- The fruit of this communion is love, it is the joy of having a God so present. 

Pray and rejoice!

- Seek to talk to God, pray! God wants to listen to you and brighten your day.

- Rejoice in God. He is enough in your life.- Share this joy with your neighbor. God will rejoice even more. 

To Pray: God, You are the reason for my joy. Even in difficult times I know you are with me, so I rejoice. You are sovereign and I know you love me, so I feel safe in your arms. Thank you so much Father, amen.
