SO THAT THEY KNOW THAT YOU ONLY ARE THE LORD GOD!
" Answer me, O LORD, answer me, that this people may know that you are the LORD God..."
1 Kings 18:37
THOUGHT: Elijah did not hesitate, but faced the multitude of the prophets of Baal, and God honored him, the answer to prayer was evident to all who did not believe in the power of God. How many times we find ourselves in difficult situations to be resolved and a crowd trying to make us lose our faith, and we look for other resources than trusting in the Lord; remember Elijah was only against a crowd, but he was counting on God, when he cried to the Lord in order to reveal to the unbelieving people the faithfulness of the God of Israel, God answered him. The answer to your prayer has the right time, you are not alone, God knows your situation and your test has a goal, to make known the Lord's faithfulness through your life. God did not call you to shame, but to be victorious.
Prayer: Father, dear amidst the trials that the people were going through, Elijah was the prophet in that context, he saw that the people were dispersed, teach your people so that in the struggles we keep the focus and we come to understand that you are God almighty to give us victory. that's what we pray to you in Jesus' name, amen.
