THE FATHER REVEALS WHO HE WANTS, GET CLOSER TO GOD!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL 

"All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father; and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will relieve you." 

Matthew 11:27-28 

Thought: True rest comes from knowing God. King David reminds us of this in Psalm 23. Jesus makes this clear again. Only Jesus can fully reveal God to us. Only Jesus can lift the burden of trying to please God without an understanding of grace. Only He can remove the weight of our sins and enable us to be holy, blameless and free from accusation before Almighty God. 

Prayer: Dear Father, thank you for sending Jesus to fulfill the Law and bless me with Your grace. May I never abuse this grace. Dear Father, enable me to serve you with the joy and happiness that I have because of your grace. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
