THE GOD WHO CAN EVERYTHING....

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

"I know that you can do all things; none of your plans can be thwarted."

Job 42:2 

- God can do all things! Can you really believe this? Or when difficulty comes, do you become upset and despair? Life's disappointments, pain and suffering may want to shake your faith... 

- Job experienced terrible loss, illness, disillusionment with his wife and friends. But even so and despite everything, he recognized the greatness of God, almighty... 

- Remember that there is nothing that is too difficult for the Lord our God. Whatever your difficulty or problem, Jesus is all-powerful and acts according to His will. Believe that He is above your afflictions. He helps you when you cry out in faith. 

Believing wholeheartedly in the Almighty: 

- God is Almighty! There is a real way out in Him, if you truly trust. Pray and commit the afflictions that have passed into the hands of the Lord. He listens to you and helps you. 

- Turn everything over to God's care. But don't "take" at His hands again, with anxiety and self-sufficiency.

- Remember: God is not a lucky charm, nor a genie in the lamp to satisfy selfish desires. 

- God is the Father of those who believe in His Son Jesus Christ. Therefore, He can give good things to those who seek Him from the heart. 

- Approach Him with confidence and love. Be sincere, say what you need, but be willing to say like Jesus: "... Thy will be done and not mine" (Luke 22:42). 

- To strengthen yourself: read, trust and rest in the Word of God daily. 

To Pray: Eternal Father, You are the Almighty God. Help us in our little faith! Come and help us every day, Father, I depend on You. Renew our strength and mine. The Lord created the whole universe, nothing is too difficult for You! I know I can trust You even when I seem to face a whirlwind around me. May Your Word be my sustenance, today and always; in the name of Jesus! Amen.
