TOUCH THE MANTLE!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL 

"And, behold, a woman who had been bleeding for twelve years came up behind him, and touched the hem of his robe; for she said within herself, If I only touch her robe, I will be well." 

Matthew 9:20-21 

Thoughts: During the walk to the chief's house, a woman who had suffered twelve years of irregular bleeding approaches Jesus in search of healing. Twelve years of bleeding! That's why she was excluded, because, as we said, at that time blood made a person unclean. Mark reports that the woman had spent all her savings on doctors, and instead of getting better, she got worse (Mark 5:25-26). She had heard of Jesus (Mark 5:27). Therefore, a new hope was born in her. She said to herself, "If I just touch his clothes, I'll be healed." The catechism of the time said, "If I touch his clothes, he will be unclean." The woman thought exactly the opposite! A sign of great courage. A sign that the women did not agree with everything the religious authorities taught. The teaching of the Pharisees and scribes could not control the thinking of the people! Thank God! The woman came up behind Jesus, touched his clothes, and was healed. 

Prayer: Beloved and dear Father in the name of the Lord Jesus, before your Presence I place myself at this time, thank you for everything, just as you healed that woman, heal every day of us who are in need, that woman went to your meeting, we are also going to meet her every day, just as she had to touch the robe, we also have faith to touch the robe, enter with total deliverance, divine healing, in Jesus name. Amen.
