"In him we were also chosen having been predestined according to the plan of the one who does all things according to the purpose of his will, so that we, who first hope in Christ, may be to the praise of his glory."

(Ephesians 1: 11-12)

Each of us has a purpose in the Lord, but we don't always realize it. When we don't quite understand our identity in Christ, we try to imitate someone or strive to be something we are not.  We compare ourselves with others and we always lose. This in general is a cause of great suffering and anguish, as it requires a huge effort, which ends up proving ineffective.

God doesn't want that for you. He wants you to have a clear view of your life. He wants to reveal what his gifts and talents are and show how you can develop them to the maximum for his glory.

The Bible states that God "saved us and called us with a holy vocation, not because of our works, but because of his own determination and grace. This grace has been given to us in Christ Jesus from eternal times" (2 Tim. 1.9) . This means that, in fact, we have no merit, but by grace we have been called to fulfill God's purpose for our lives.

Ask the Lord to reveal to you the gifts and talents he has placed in you, so that his plans for your life, drawn up before you even knew him, come to fruition and thus result in blessings for the Kingdom.

PRAYER:  Lord, I ask you to show me clearly the gifts and talents you have given me. Lead me on the right path as I develop these gifts. Enable me to use them according to your will and for your glory. * BELIEVE MY BROTHERS, GOD IS FAITHFUL.
