ALL THINGS CONTRIBUTE TO THE GOOD OF THOSE WHO LOVE GOD!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

 " And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to his purpose." 

Romans 8:28 

Thoughts: The interesting thing about this verse is that it says "all things", not just "some things". In other words, even the difficulties we face, and many times we don't understand why, also work together for our good. That's why we must give thanks to God not only in victories, but also in adversity, not because God rejoices in our struggles, but because that's how our character is refined, similar to the gold that is placed in the fire to remove its impurities. 

Prayer: God help me to give thanks not only in victories, but also in the midst of problems, so that my soul is not broken, nor my heart sad. May I always remember that the greatest of all joys is the joy of salvation, won at a high price through Jesus there on the cross. May I see in everyday tribulations where the Lord wants me to be perfected. Amen.
