BEING NEW, BOTH CONSERVE!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

 "Nobody sews a patch of new cloth on an old garment; because the new patch removes part of the old garment, and the rupture increases. Nobody puts new wine in old skins; otherwise, the wine will break the skins; and so much wine is lost like wineskins. But new wine is put into new wineskins. "

 Mark 2: 21-22 

Thought: Beloved, sometimes we do not understand the momentary difficulty and the delay in the answer that the Lord has for our prayers, but the fact is that first God tries to cleanse us completely, He allows us to be tested, and OK so that He can pour out His blessings on us. If the heart is not prepared for His blessing, then we can make the same mistakes, and it can become a cycle. 

Prayer: Dear Father, help me to understand Your answer time to my prayers, and help me to clear my mind and heart so that I am prepared as soon as possible for the Lord to pour new wine into my life. May there be nothing in me that could contaminate or spoil the blessing that is to come. I pray and give thanks in the name of Jesus. Amen.
