CLOSE IS THE LORD!

THOUGHT: Because of the Lord's closeness, we can rejoice and treat others with kindness. He is close because he lives in us through his Spirit. He is close because his life is imminent. He is close because when we bring other believers together, serve others in need, or share the Gospel with friends and people from other cultures, He has promised to be with us. There is nothing more contagious than a cheerful and kind person. Because Jesus lives in us, works through us and is coming for us, we can be happy and kind! 

Prayer: Father, I am very happy to know that I will never be alone. Thank you for sending Jesus to die for my sins. Thank you for sending Jesus to join me when I am meeting with other Christians, when I serve others in the name of Jesus and when I share the Gospel. Please let the lasting joy I feel because of your presence be evident in the way I live and the way I serve others. In the precious name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
