EZEQUIEL, PROPHETIZE!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

The hand of the Lord came on me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and put me in the middle of a valley that was full of bones. And made me pass around them; and, behold, they were very numerous on the face of the valley, and behold, they were very dry. And he said to me, Son of man, will these bones live? And I said, Lord GOD, you know it. Then he said to me, Prophesy about these bones, and say to them, Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. '

Ezekiel 37: 1-4

In this passage the prophet Ezekiel is taken by God, in spirit, to a valley of dry bones. So God asks if they could live those bones, and Ezekiel then gives us an example of unquestionable faith in the power of God, and answers the Lord that He is the one who knows, that is, if God wants there can be life.

Then God tells Ezekiel to prophesy and we can continue reading the story and see that an army then emerged from that pile of dry bones. In this same way God wants to act in our life today, He says to prophesy about our lives, and where he is dead, there will be life.

PRAYER: Thank you God, for the Lord teaches us that the word prophesied, and the power that is in the name of Jesus can change our lives. Don't let me use negative, negative words that only curse my life. Thank you for everything. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen!
