DAILY DEVOTIONAL

"There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in the one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all and in all of you."
Ephesians 4:4-6

Thought: Paul, when writing this text to the Church that was in Ephesus, wanted to convey the message of the gospel that there would be no more distinction between Jews and Gentiles, because Christ died for ALL who confessed him as Lord and Savior, regardless of their denomination. There is a great mistake in people even today, but the body is one, the church is one, the point is that the church is not about the temples, the denomination, the doctrine, etc... but Christ refers to it. if the church as His body, and everyone who believes is baptized and remains faithful to Christ until death, he belongs to the church of Jesus and will be saved.

Prayer: Lord God, thank you because the Lord called me to be part of this body, gave me understanding, and showed that the temple and the denomination that I attend is just a place to gather the members of the body, of the church, and a place for us to receive spiritual food and praise the Lord. And I also thank you because this denomination that I attend has never positioned itself as the only and savior Church, because if it had done so I would consider it a heretic, because it would be putting itself in the place of Christ who is the only Lord and Savior. Thanks Dad. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
