He got up, scolded the wind and said to the sea, "Be still! Calm down!" The wind subsided, and there was a complete calm. Then he asked his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" They were terrified and asked each other, "Who is this that even the wind and the sea obey him?"

Mark 4: 39-41

This passage tells a very interesting episode of the Gospel. Jesus was with His disciples on a boat, crossing the Sea of Galilee towards the other shore of the beach. Other boats followed Him. Jesus was probably tired because, curling up on a pillow, he slept right there, on the bow. Suddenly, a great storm began, strong winds and great waves threatened to flood the boat where they were, and certainly the other boats that were following too.

The disciples were desperate! Although they dominated boat management and control strategies, that situation was untenable. They feared that the worst would happen ... In that affliction, they might have thought: - How can He sleep in the midst of this torment? Simple, Jesus had control over all things, including what brought fear to His friends. They called out to the Master who calmed the storm, and there was a lull.
