DAILY DEVOTIONAL

 "And, behold, I am with you every day until the end of the century." 

"Seek the Lord while you can find yourself, call on him while you are near." 

Matthew 28:20 and Isaiah 55: 6 

THOUGHT: At all times when Jesus sent His disciples, He gave them this promise: "And, behold, I am with you every day until the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20). Literally, the words every day mean "always", according to Greek language scholars Jamieson, Fausset and Brown. Jesus did not simply say "always", but "every day". Such a statement includes our various activities, the good and bad circumstances that surround us, the various responsibilities that we have in the course of our days, the stormy clouds and the brightness of the sun. Our Lord is with us, no matter what each day brings. It can be a day of joy or sadness, of illness or health, of success or failure. No matter what happens to us on this day, our Lord will be walking beside us, giving us strength, loving us, filling us with faith, hope and love. As we surround ourselves with quiet tranquility and security, our enemies move away, and our fears, afflictions and doubts begin to subside. We can endure any situation and circumstance because we know that the Lord is near, "So I am with you".

Prayer: Father here I am and asking you to be with us protecting us from all evil, and directing us to eternal life with you, perfect us in you every day in the name of Jesus is that I pray ... AMEN.
