HEART  COMPUNGED AND CONTRICTED, BROKEN SPIRIT IS SACRIFICE PLEASING TO GOD!

Sacrifices pleasing to God are the broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, thou shalt not despise him, O God.' 

Psalm 51:17 

THOUGHT: 'Broken spirit is meekness, which brings us to the condition and attitude of receiving instruction and correction. Jesus invites us to take His yoke upon us and learn from Him because He is meek and lowly in heart (Matthew 11:29). The yoke is the yoke that joins two oxen, usually the less experienced one to the more experienced one, to learn how to proceed. Without meekness nothing is learned, and you and I need to learn from Jesus how to live life in the Spirit. May our hearts be poured out before the Lord so that we can do His will, and certainly the Lord will not despise us and will never abandon us. 

We must ask God to break our hearts and that we may show the world the privilege of serving Him in Jesus' name.
