DAILY DEVOTIONAL

And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh, with its passions and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." 

Galatians 5:24-25 

Thought: Flesh and Spirit oppose. They are in continuous combat with each other. If the Christian is walking in the power of one of them, he cannot be in control of the other. Behind the Spirit's resistance to the flesh is the purpose that believers should be kept from doing the things that the lusts of the flesh call for. In this text we learn that we cannot be dominated by carnal pleasures, but we must walk under the miraculous effect of the fruit of the Spirit exercised on those who fear the Lord.

Prayer: Lord God, in the name of you and savior Jesus Christ, I stand before your presence, through the text of our devotional today, continue strengthening my spirit, also strengthen the person who is reading this devotional, so that can have a life of prayer, obedience, fear and reading His Word, doing so, let's come I pray in Jesus' name.
