JESUS CAME TO CALL SINNERS TO REPENT.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

"I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
Luke 5:32

Thought: Jesus was criticized many times for deliberately associating with people that were suspicious in the eyes of "religious people". There was a reason for his behavior. He wasn't doing this to gain popularity, or to be weird, or bizarre, or "fashionable". Jesus came to redeem the enslaved, find the lost, heal the hurt, and bring back the sinner. Can the bodily presence of Jesus aim for anything less today, and still be called "Church of Christ"?

Prayer: Obligatory Father, before your presence we place ourselves at this hour, thank you for giving yourself on the Cross of Calvary for our lives, thank you for coming for the remission of sins, thank you for regenerating us. On this day, those who are still far from the Lord, bring them to your fold, enter with total deliverance, Jesus heals them. It's what I already thank you for the victory in Jesus name, amen.
