Jesus said to him, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, even though he dies, will live;

John 11:25

This statement made by Jesus is clear and liberating, especially in the context in which it was released. Jesus did not make this statement in a moment of tranquility, but in a situation of sadness and mourning, in the death of Lazarus.

In addition to comforting Martha, Jesus revealed his authority and his role in the plan of Salvation: "He who believes in me, even though he dies, will live". Whoever believes in Christ, even if he dies, will live forever. In this way, Jesus presented something even more effective than physical resurrection: eternal life!

Yes, Jesus performed a great miracle and resurrected Lazarus, but he offered everyone eternal salvation through His name. Anyone who believes in His Word, even in a situation of death, will obtain life, a life that even death cannot stop!

Believe this word, proclaim Christ and save lives forever!
