JESUS ​​TAKES CARE OF THE FAMILY!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

" And behold, out of the multitude, a man appeared, saying in a loud voice, Master, I beseech thee to see my son, for he is the only one; it convulses it until it foams, and hardly leaves it after having broken it.' 

Luke 9:38-39 

Thought: There are all kinds of family problems. Jesus, both in His time on earth and still today, is greater than all family problems. This the father of that boy tormented by evil also knew, and so he came to Jesus with his affliction. No one was able to remedy their family affliction, only Jesus could help. And He helped! He 'rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the boy, and delivered him to his father.' Today Jesus also wants to help with any family problem, whether it is caused by his own fault or by strangers. In each situation, talk to Jesus about the issue; talk to Him like that afflicted father did. If He doesn't intervene immediately, don't be discouraged. Keep talking to Jesus about your family problems. He will hear you and, touched by mercy, will once again show Himself as the One who is greater than all. He will not reject you, for He Himself has said, '...whatever comes to me I will by no means cast out. 

PRAYER: Lord God, in difficult times, when everything seems lost, when the situation is out of control, only You are able to bring hope to humanity, God touches families on that day with providence in the name of Jesus. Amen.
