JESUS, THE OWNER OF THE LIVING WATER!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

"Jesus answered and said unto him, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith unto thee, Give me a drink, thou wouldest ask him, and he would give thee living water.' 

John 4:10

THOUGHT: Jesus said this to a Samaritan woman who asked him for water to quench his thirst, and in the following verses we can see Jesus saying that anyone who drank this water would be thirsty again, but whoever drank the living water would never thirst again turn. This is what God wants of us, that we seek the heavenly things that fill the spirit and last for eternity, and not be occupied with the things of this world that are fleeting.

PRAYER: God thank you for this teaching, may I even seek the things of heaven, and may I obtain grace before the Lord, Father teach me, every day to live the natural way of the lady, help me to have eyes only for the things of the kingdom, according to your word says that the rest will be added I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
