5. When Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him and begged him, saying:

6. Sir, my servant lies at home paralyzed, and horribly tormented.

7. Jesus answered him, I will go and heal him.

8. But the centurion replied, "Lord, I am not worthy for you to go under my roof; but just say a word, and my servant will heal.

9. For I too am a man under authority, and I have soldiers at my command; and I say to this, Go, and he will go; and another: Come, and he comes; and to my servant: Do this, and he does it.

10. When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those who followed him, "Truly I say to you, I have found no one in Israel with such faith.
