PRAY FOR YOUR BROTHER

I pray that, with his glorious riches, he will strengthen you in the depths of your being with power, through his Spirit, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and I pray that, being rooted and grounded in love.

Ephesians 3:16-17

Prayer is an effective tool, praying is talking to God spontaneously and truthfully. Many times we put in our prayers, our anxieties, desires and requests to God. Just as prayer helps us, we can help others through prayer. Praying for others is an exercise in love. When we pray for our brothers, we are putting aside our desires to devote our attention to the lives of others. This is love, God is pleased with this attitude. When we set aside our wills and do the Father's will, we are blessed. Jesus is the greatest example, He advocated on our behalf and gave Himself for us! Jesus didn't think about you, he thought about us. Today we have Salvation because a Great Friend gave Himself in our place

No one has greater love than one who lays down his life for his friends. John 15:13

Loving others is the great key to a blessed life. When we love one another, everyone is covered by God's love. "I pray for you and you pray for me", this is an exercise in love that should be practiced every day.

- Try to make a short list with 3 names, this will help in your daily prayer.

- Be aware if any friend or brother needs prayer. Always be willing to pray.

- Tell the person who has been praying for her. This amazing proof of love can bring her to Christ.

To Pray: Lord, today I don't want to pray for my life, but for my brother's life (say your friend's name). Pour out Your favor, bless my brother. May the blessing in his life be a reason for joy and praise to You. In the name of Jesus, my best friend. Amen!
