 "Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps my word, he will not see death forever." 

John 8:51 

THOUGHT: Man has always tried desperately to escape death. And in spite of all the treatments for rejuvenation and cell renewal, man still did not get rid of this fear. Only one Person managed to overcome death: Jesus Christ. If you have this Jesus in your heart, which is still greater than death today, then you too are free from fear and the power of death! Only then will you no longer see death, for He Himself said: "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, even if I die, will live." 

Prayer: Dear Father, thank you for this word that renews my faith, and brings peace to my heart, for I can pin my hopes on eternal life, which Jesus won for me, a perfect life with the Lord, in the Kingdom of Heaven. Help me to remember this word when I am in the midst of tribulation, so that I can be at peace, knowing that the things of this life are fleeting, and what really matters is eternal life. I pray in the name of Jesus, amen.
