"Blessed are those servants whom the lord, when he comes, finds them vigilant; verily I say to you that he will gird himself, make room for them at the table and, coming near, will serve them."

Luke 12:37

THOUGHT: Surely, vigilance is the most effective and safest way to prepare us to meet the Lord. When we watch, we are always keeping an eye on everything and analyzing what the will of God is. We know what can embarrass our lives and lead us to spiritual fall and death, because when that happens, there is a separation from God. The Bible teaches us that we must flee from all embarrassment and sin (Hebrews 12: 1). If Christ comes back and we are in that situation, it will not be good. "Therefore, be ye also aware; for the Son of Man will come at a time that you do not imagine" (Luke 12:40)

Prayer: Dear Father, make sure that I am always attentive, vigilant and that soon I can identify the enemy's antics. I know it will be a great tragedy, if Jesus returns and I am fallen. So help me to escape from the appearance of evil, to stay away from sin, and not to divert my steps from His path. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
