SUBJECT YOURSELVES TO GOD, RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

 "Submit yourselves therefore to God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

James 4:7

THOUGHT: We must submit to God and walk in accordance with His word, living the gospel with obedience, holiness and newness of life. Through prayer, fasting, solid food, and the fruit of the Spirit, we will be able to resist, oppose, stand up to, defend, and face the fiery darts of the devil. When we submit to God we are clothed with power, anointing and authority, and then we resist the devil, thief, father of lies, accuser and prince of darkness, and he, without being able to overcome us, is forced to flee. Hallelujah. 

Prayer: God I resist every work of the devil, in the name of Jesus, I declare that my life is holy, set apart, and given to the Lord. My desire is for His will and His purpose to be fulfilled in my life. I cancel every trap of the enemy, in the name of Jesus, I declare an open spiritual vision so that I can be vigilant and not let myself be taken in by the wiles of the devil. I pray in Jesus' name.
