THE LORD DROUGHT THE INIQUITY OF US ALL ON HIM!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

"We all went astray like sheep; every one went astray in his own way; but the Lord hath laid upon him the iniquity of us all." 

Isaiah 53:6 

Thoughts: Sheep often get lost, forgetting the flock and the shepherd. They wander aimlessly, having in mind nothing more than the next clump of grass. There is no thought of wolves or deep precipices. And many times we are like this, so preoccupied with present desires and circumstances, that we become distracted from the consequences of our choices, and end up drifting away from the herd. But our pastor is Jesus, and thanks to His mercy, he caught up with us, and put us back on the path.

PRAYER: Thank you God that You take care of me, not only like a shepherd tends to his sheep, but also like a father who takes care of his child. Help me to be vigilant and pray that we will be on the way and not lose me from the flock. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
