THE NEED TO BE BORN AGAIN!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

 "Jesus replied, and said to him," Indeed, truly, I say to you, whoever is not born again cannot see the kingdom of God. "

( John 3: 3 )

THOUGHT: The Bible is very clear about the need for a person to be born again to receive eternal life. We are born again when we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, and invite him to be part of our life. By accepting Jesus and calling him Lord, we place ourselves in the condition of servants, because serving God or others is the way to demonstrate the love that is in us. So if we are not serving, God's love is not in us, and therefore, we need to think about whether, in fact, we are born again and are new creatures. 

Prayer: Dear Father, thank you for allowing me to be born again, to have a new life, to be a new creature, and to still allow me to live in Your kingdom. Help me to understand what is the attitude of serving the Lord and my neighbor well, forgive me because I have not practiced love as I should, that I can receive an overflowing portion of the Spirit, because I know that only He enables me to practice love and service. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
