In the evening many demoniacs were brought to him, and he expelled the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. And so it was fulfilled what was said by the prophet Isaiah: He took our sicknesses and took our sicknesses upon himself. '

Matthew 8: 16-17 

THOUGHT: What does Jesus feel for us when we feel tormented by evil and injustice? Does he really yearn to touch our bodies when we are injured? Look in two places for the answer. First, look at the cross and see it in anguish so that we can be confident that He knows and cares about our pain. Second, look at His Kingdom, when we will see it face to face, and every tear will be wiped from our eyes and we will share His glory and majesty for all eternity. In this world, we walk under His grace and experience it partially, we live without a full understanding of things, but the time will come when we will be able to taste all of His love, His grace, and we will have full knowledge of the truth. 

PRAYER: Holy and Righteous Father, until the Day of Grace is completely reached, I trust that Your love and mercy will sustain me through the Grace of my Savior and His Son, Jesus Christ. In Your name, I pray. Amen.
